Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced System Engineer to join our Diagnostic Data Engineering team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and support the Diagnostic Data Engineering Lead Architect in shaping the strategy for diagnostic fault tracing and vehicle software distribution. You will play a key part in securing system design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enabling seamless collaboration across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to support the Diagnostic Data Engineering Lead Architect.
- Define and drive strategies for fault tracing of vehicle software distribution and installation issues.
- Update and maintain documentation for L1/L2 use cases in diagnostic fault tracing.
- Develop and secure a system design view in collaboration with Global Diagnostic Service Platform and Vehicle Architects.
- Apply FMEA/S-FMEA methodologies to strengthen system reliability and safety.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14229 (UDS) and ISO 26262 (functional safety) standards.
- Contribute to product development processes with a focus on aftermarket business and workshop environments.
- Collaborate in Agile project environments, supporting iterative development and delivery.
- Drive cross-functional engagement with strong communication, planning, and customer-centric focus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's of Engineering/Technology or MSc in Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in designing complex embedded systems.
- Proven experience in system-level design and diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and aftermarket operations.
- Hands-on expertise with FMEA/S-FMEA.
- Familiarity with ISO14229 and ISO26262 standards.
- Track record of working in Agile environments with cross-functional global teams.
