Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team working on the bring-up of a Safety Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) within the safety module of an advanced chipset. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with ISO26262 functional safety standards, while delivering secure, reliable, and high-performance embedded software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and integrate Safety RTOS for advanced chipset safety modules.
- Implement and optimize C++ code to meet real-time performance and safety-critical requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, ensuring ISO26262 compliance.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve safety-critical issues.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation to support ISO26262 certification.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to secure seamless HW/SW integration.
- Contribute to system-level design and architecture for improved safety and reliability.
- Perform secure boot, flashing, and debugging of safety-critical software images.
- Enhance and adapt existing software to integrate new features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience developing and integrating RTOS in embedded systems (automotive experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded, real-time applications.
- Solid understanding and hands-on application of ISO26262 functional safety standards.
- Experience with debugging tools, flashing, and testing frameworks in safety-critical systems.
