Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced fine mechanics designer to join our team in the packaging industry. You will play a key role in our engineering team, where you will participate in the development and construction of an advanced packaging material manufacturing machine. The position is located in Lund and allows you to work on exciting and innovative projects.

What you will do:

  • Develop and design fine mechanical components and machine elements for packaging machines as part of a team of 5-7 experienced designers.
  • Ensure correct dimensioning, tolerances, and quality control for components.
  • Apply knowledge of Form and Position to ensure precision and functionality.
  • Use Autodesk Inventor to create and modify technical drawings.
  • Develop high-precision solutions with a focus on achieving high quality.
  • Participate in the entire machine development process, from start to delivery.

What you will bring:

  • At least 5 years of documented experience working with Autodesk Inventor.
  • Solid knowledge of dimensioning, tolerances, and machine elements.
  • Strong understanding of fine mechanics and accuracy in construction.
  • Knowledge of Form and Position according to international standards.
  • Experience in the food and packaging industry (advantageous).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
